Short Biography

Well, just as the title of this blog had suggested, my name is Jason Low. This is my first blog to share some of my photos with some of my thoughts about them. Because I always think that each photo comes with their own story, so each of the post made would come with some short description about the photo, and some thoughts of mine about the posted photo.

When I was young, I always had some interest in photography, using my dad’s film camera and clicking away happily. Then I had my first digital camera, which was a Kodak 3.2 megapixel Easyshare camera. I had a great time with tat Kodak, preserving some of my most precious moments I had. But then, that camera went busted because of a failing battery cover.

Then I came to South Korea to do my engineering studies. I finished my studies and now currently still in South Korea for work. When I first came, my parents bought me a 4.0 megapixel Olympus mju 410 digital camera which i still have with me now. I love this camera, it might only have 4 megapixel, it still takes perfect photos with the given perfect condition.

At first, I wasn’t convinced by the high price of DSLR and the time I need to put into learning photography for DSLR. It took my quite sometime to get convinced and did my first purchase. Needless to say, I fell in love with photography once I bought my Pentax K10D 2 years ago.

This is how my interest in photography took off.
